1. The marketplace
Placement is a marketplace where brands can buy sponsorship placements on athletes (body/clothing zones for events) via auction or fixed price. Placement provides the software platform; athletes and brands are responsible for their listings, bids, creative, and event compliance.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Athlete and brand roles have different permissions. We may suspend accounts that abuse the marketplace, attempt payment fraud, or violate these terms.
3. Auctions & payments
Bids may require saving a payment method. The winning brand is charged the winning amount when the auction settles. Outbid brands are not charged for losing bids. Platform fees are calculated server-side. Payouts to athletes are processed through Stripe Connect after fulfillment conditions (including proof) are met.
4. Content & proof
Brands grant athletes a limited license to apply approved artwork for the booked placement. Athletes must upload honest proof. Placement may remove fraudulent or illegal content.

The service is provided “as is.” Event results, visibility, and sponsorship outcomes are not guaranteed. Limitation of liability and governing law should be finalized by counsel for your entity and jurisdictions.
